What this is

It is not someone to talk to.

Most products in this category build you a companion — patient, always available, never difficult. Atween does the opposite. There is no character here. There are two real people, and a thin layer between them that tries to carry meaning across without flattening it.

You write down what actually happened. Atween reads it back to you. Nothing it produces becomes part of your record until you say so.

What we hold to

Five things, stated plainly.

Boundaries before capabilities

Before the list of what we don’t do, here is what we keep.

The words you wrote. An index we can rebuild or discard. One short summary for each word you’ve used — bound to the word, not to you. That’s the inventory. What follows is a boundary, not a claim of emptiness.

1. We don’t simulate a person.

   There is no character here to talk to. Atween works on what you wrote and hands it back to you. If what you want is company, this is the wrong product.

2. We don’t decide what’s true about you.

   Every reading Atween produces is a candidate. It enters your record only when you confirm it — and “no, that’s not it” is kept too, as something you said.

3. We don’t show you a score.

   No compatibility percentage. No personality type. No emotion reading. No relationship health meter. Those numbers would be invented, and an invented number about your marriage is worse than silence.

4. We don’t show them your words.

   What reaches the other person is something you approved, carried across in a form that can land on their side. Your entries stay yours. Theirs stay theirs.

5. We don’t keep what you delete.

   Deleting destroys the key that made the text readable — it doesn’t become hidden, it becomes unreadable. Then every place a trace could survive is cleared: caches, queues, dead letters, retries, training exports, and the per-word summaries, which are recomputed from scratch rather than patched.

6. We don’t train on you by default.

   Using Atween and letting Atween learn are two separate permissions. The second is off until you turn it on, and turning it off stops future training.

How it works

Four steps. That is the whole shape.

1. Leave a moment. Text, a picture, or your voice — transcribed on your own device.
2. The echo reads it back. A candidate, never a verdict. You confirm, correct, or refuse.
3. Hand it across. What reaches them is what you approved, phrased so it can land on their side.
4. It comes back when it should. Not on a schedule, and never as a notification asking for your attention.

The other person does not need to be using Atween. Your field is yours either way.

Sovereignty

Deletion, export and exit are written into the specification.

Deleting destroys the key that made your text readable, then clears every place a trace could survive. Export gives you the whole record or it fails and says so — never a partial file presented as complete.

What it costs

Atween is a paid subscription.

Pricing is not announced yet, and we will not put a number here before it is real. When it is, it will be stated in full — the amount, the period, and how to cancel — before you are asked for anything.

One thing is settled regardless of price: asking for help in a crisis is always free. It is never behind a subscription, a quota, or a trial limit.
